The Travel Edit
On Island Time…
Hola Mis Amores!
meet jirah nicole
Do you remember your first love? I do — and before I ever fell for a boy, I fell for the Caribbean. Now, I’m a writer who won’t shut up about it. I’m Jirah Nicole — the face, voice, and creator behind Jirah Nicole TV, a travel lifestyle brand that blends my love for Latin American and Caribbean destinations with my obsession for all things vintage and Old Hollywood. My mission is to inspire you to do, see, and be more through the lens of travel — because travel looks good on you.
I’m a self-proclaimed “wanna-be island girl” with a deep love for Latin American and Caribbean cultures, and I’m passionate about helping travelers move beyond the typical tourist lens to fully immerse themselves in the local life, culture, and hidden gems each destination has to offer. When I’m not exploring the Caribbean or Latin America, you’ll find me “time traveling” through different eras — I’m endlessly inspired by retro places and the glamour of Old Hollywood. I’m so happy you’re here — and I can’t wait to inspire you to do, see, and be more in Latin America and the Caribbean.

A Vintage World
Travel, for me, isn’t just about discovering new places – it’s about stepping back in time and experiencing the world as it once was. I’ve always had a deep love for all things vintage: old-school diners, retro hotels, classic films, timeless fashion, the oldies, and the charm of eras gone by. I love exploring different decades and diving deep into the music, history, fashion, and culture that defined them.
When I’m on the road, I’m always chasing that nostalgic feeling — seeking out hidden gems, from retro-themed excursions and vintage hotels to historic towns that feel like time capsules. There’s something magical about standing in spaces where the past still lingers. If you share my obsession with nostalgia and the beauty of the past, I welcome you into my vintage world.
